Resources to Help Catholics Make an Informed Voting Decision

The results of this year's election will determine whether our country cements its slide into non-Christian leadership and laws, or begins to earn back the favor and blessing of the Lord.

As a Catholic voter, you or those you know might be struggling with, “How do I know which candidate to support?” There is nowhere better to find truth and guidance when choosing someone to represent and lead our country than Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

According to Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, "Re-election of President Trump and winning pro-life majorities in both the House and Senate are essential for restoring protection to the unborn. They are also essential to preserving the freedom of the Church and the values and principles of America itself. Everything we stand for is on the line, for ourselves and our future generations."

With over 61 mission babies aborted in the United States since Roe vs. Wade legalized abortion in 1973, the Lord may be giving Americans one last chance to choose candidates that protect the most vulnerable Americans at all stages of life. Voting for a political candidate who promotes abortion or any other moral evil, such as assisted suicide and euthanasia, makes you an accomplice in that act.  Neither feeling nor opinions about a candidate can take the place of conscience. Catholics have the responsibility of having a voice in choosing the leaders of our country who will glorify the Lord and help us live according to His law.

If personality is an issue for you, then vote for the most life-protecting platform, not the candidate. The party and its values will be there long after a candidate is gone.
