Join Catholic men where we take responsibility for learning, living, strengthening, and sharing our faith.
The Regular Joe Men's Prayer Breakfast is a collection of everyday “Regular Joes” who want to learn more about the Catholic faith and discuss the common issues that face all men.
We are Catholic men inviting other men to a comfortable, confidential environment where we take responsibility to learn our faith, share our faith, strengthen our faith, and live our faith so that we may grow to be better men, husbands, fathers, uncles, brothers and followers of Jesus Christ.
Many members have never attended any other “church-related event” outside of Mass, while others are far along in their faith journey. Whatever the case is with you, you’ll feel welcome! While not a true prayer group, bible study or men’s club, they have elements of all.
Newcomers are always welcome! This group meets weekly on most Wednesday mornings from 5:45 - 7:00 AM in the Our Lady of Good Counsel parish Social Hall. How to join or find out more information? Learn more here.
Below is the book the group will be reading and discussing starting Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
You may choose to have the book available to pick up at the Wednesday, February 26th or Wednesday, March 5th breakfast meetings, pick up yourself at the store, or have it shipped to you (additional cost). We have extended the deadline to MONDAY MARCH 3rd as the last day to order, receive the 25% discount, and deliver your book in time for distribution at the Wednesday February 26th or March 5th meetings. After that, you may still order a book for in-store pick-up or shipment to your home.
Remember to add your Men's Prayer Breakfast coupon code. See previous MPB weekly emails.

Prudence: Choose Confidently, Live Boldly
Decisions, decisions ... life presents us with so many, big and small. How can we confidently make choices that bring us true happiness? The life of the virtues holds the key, and among those virtues, prudence holds the reins.
No, this isn't your grandmother's definition of prudence. This virtue actually inspires practical wisdom, allowing us to choose well and to bring order into our lives. In Prudence: Choose Confidently, Live Boldly, Fr. Gregory Pine, OP, aims to work prudence back into the conversation and to explain how it can transform us along our path toward what really matters.
In the face of fleeting emotions and conflicting convictions, learn how prudence will help you find wholeness, happiness, and freedom.
